He was predeceased by: his parents, S. D. Bloys and Dorothy Green Bloys; his son Kenneth James Bloys; his siblings, Bill Bloys, Wanda Welch and Shirlene Crowder; his cousin Bill Horton; his nephew Jerry Mickey; and his uncle James Bloys (Vera).
He is survived by: his wife Elna Bloys; his son David Bloys (Mary Street) of Shallowater; his niece Betty Mickey of Rock Port; his sister-in-law Mary Bloys of Plainview, Texas; his grandchildren, Shane Bloys (Mellissa) of Rockwall, Joshua Bloys (Victoria) of Abernathy, Laura Bird (Jason) of Coppell, Kathy Ramge (Jim) of Fairfield, Shannon Herzog of Colorado and Penny Rainey (Bobby) of Shallowater; and his great grandchildren, Katelyn Bloys, Caleb Bloys, Hudson Bird, Ian Bloys, Elizabeth Bloys, Bryan Rainey, Novalee Rainey and Daniel Rainey.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Shiners' Hospital or Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
