It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fairye Darlenda Marquis of Floydada, Texas, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Fairye Darlenda may no longer walk beside us, their memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Fairye Darlenda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In their absence, their spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada Monday (329 W California St, Floydada, TX 79235).
