It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ester Ramos of Floydada, Texas, born in Lockney, Texas, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Duran and Porfina Casillas Duran; and her siblings, Guadalupe Duran, Francisco Duran, Chele Duran, Juanita Duran Becerra and Mary Duran.
She is survived by: her husband David Ramos; her children, Thomas (Anqua Garza), Laura (Lionel Garza Sr.), Jeremiah Ramos, David Ramos Jr. (Brenda Maldonado) and Sara (Domingo Rosales); her sister Teresa Rodriguez (Tomas Beltran) of Lockney, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Siobhon Garza, Nathanael Garza, Caleb Garza, Eduardo Lopez, Natalie Garza, Sadie Rosales, Bethel Rosales, Shadow, Cane (Baby), Larry, Rosie, Jax, Nala, Shelby and Titan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UMC Cancer Center, American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, and UMC Hospice all of Lubbock, Texas. Donations may also be made to her church at God's Blessings Fellowship in Floydada, Texas.
