It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Wittler of Floydada, Texas, born in Fairbury, Illinois, who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wittler and Josephine Wittler (Endres) of Chatsworth, IL.; his son Donnie Wittler, Jr.; his brother Mark Wittler; and his siblings-in-law, Darrell Pence, JC Vaughan and Florine Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Lou Wittler; his daughters, Danielle Wittler of Lexington, KY and Dana Logsdon (Gary) of Lexington, KY; his stepsons, Tommy Cooper of Matador, TX and Tim Cooper of Atlanta, GA; his sisters, Jane Pence of Burleson, TX and Cheryl Wittler of Wheaton, IL; his sister-in-law Joni Wittler of Mahomet, IL; his grandsons, Avery and Chuck Logsdon of Lexington, KY; and his friends, Sarah, Daphne, Sam, Rusty Etheredge, Bobby Whitaker and Bunni Odell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in honor of Don may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Matador, the Motely County Senior Citizen Center, or the Roaring Springs Cemetery.
