He is survived by: his wife Glenda Wilson of Floydada; his daughters, Christine (Aki Graham) of Stafford and Diana Kay (Dennis Stone) of Arlington; his grandchildren, Sarah Graham (Steve Bender), Dylan (Hannah Rankin), Lacy and Tai; his great grandchildren, Gannon and Hattie Mae; and his sisters, Ruby McLoud of Abilene, Jonell Duzan of Las Cruces and Barbara Christian of Denton, Texas..

“I have great memories of and with Uncle Dwayne and Aunt Glenda - among the most fun of my childhood and young adulthood memories as we visited Lockney & Floydada. Dwayne loved to have fun, a great cut-up, and a man who clearly and proudly loved his family. I thank God for such uncles as he, Ronnie, and Dean. It was a privilege for Cindy (my wife) not only to hear about these men, but to meet them and get to know them over the years. Heart-loss here, joy in heaven! Mac (James & Cindy McLeod)”
