He is survived by: his wife Barbara Tripp Olson; his children, Chris Olson (Jane), Mark Olson (Pam), Laurie Jackson (Derrick Griffin), Eric Olson (Stori) and Amy Huff (Brandon); and his grandchildren, Michael Olson, Kelly Olson, Sarah Olson, Lizzie Olson, Josh Jackson, Joey Jackson, Julia Jackson, Jordan Jackson, Sawyer Jacobs, Shepherd Jacobs, Sinclaire Jacobs, Rachel Olson, Jack Olson, Grace Huff and Katie Huff.
