He is survived by: his daughters, Tiffiny Harwell (Allen) of Roanoke and Elizabeth Kahrs (Steven Shockley) of Denton; his mother Mary Kahrs; his siblings, Kristine Christen, Craig Kahrs, David Kahrs (Mary), Denise Palas, Laurie Kingman and Julie Zuilek; and his granddaughters, Anna and Kenzie Harwell.
