She was predeceased by: her father Roy Dee Whitlock; her husband William Matthews; and her parent Willie Whitlock. She is survived by: her daughter Dede (Kelly Walz) of Flower Mound; and her grandchildren, Matthew Walz of Flower Mound and Erin Yager (Jack) of McKinney.
