She was predeceased by: her parents, Amelesu Aberra and Benjamino Spagnolo; her husband George Coates; her sister Yolanda Spagnolo; her nephew Timothy Gagnon; and her siblings-in-law, Cindy Lewis, Claude Gagnon and Eddie Lewis.

She is survived by: her daughter Roberta Coates Goff; her son-in-law Andy Goff; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Maxwell and Daniella Goff of Coppell; her siblings, Lidia Spagnolo and Furio Spagnolo of Rome; her sister-in-law Pam Gagnon of Windsor, CT; her niece Cristina Spagnolo; and her nephews, Nicholas Papini and Greg.
