He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hughes and Nellie Hughes (Brown); and his children, Dru Hughes, Archie Hughes, Jr. and Dora Hughes.
He is survived by: his children, Marian and Dean; his wife Donna Hughes of Flower Mound, Texas; his daughter Jodi Campbell (Hugh) of Flower Mound, Texas; his grandsons, Dru Campbell and Hagen Campbell; and his sisters, Margie Love, Margaret Burrer, Ethel Collier and Jessie Wendel.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Sheridan County Amusement Company or First Presbyterian Church of Hoxie, Kansas.
