He was predeceased by: his parents, August Sr. and Agnes Lamza Hosek; and his siblings, August Hosek Jr., Rosie Fischer, Annie Stanley Schmidt, Agnes Sims, Martha Luckie, Georgie Cullinane and Albina Flieller.
He is survived by: his son Hall; his wife Ivarene Voigt Hosek; his children, Bernadette (Kenneth Dworaczyk) and Victor Jack Hosek; his grandsons, Cory and Brandon Dworaczyk; his sisters, Ella Plyler and Leona Moczygemba; his brother-in-law Jerome Flieller, Jr.; and also, Fridolin and Pearl Schnautz Voigt. He is also survived by numerous nieces; and a nephew.
