It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Lea Popham Jaksik (Floresville, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on December 25, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Kenneth Popham (Flo) of Fairview, Texas; her parent Eugene Popham; her husband Victor David Jaksik; her son Dennis Jaksik; and her grandson Carson Jaksik.
She is survived by: her parent Mattie Agnes Von Dohlen; her children, Shirley Coughenour (James) of San Antonio and David Jaksik (Mary) of Bulverde, Texas; her daughter-in-law Sally Jaksik of Pleasanton, Texas; her grandchildren, Stuart Jaksik, Shiela McLaughlin (Ryan), Jandale Wallace (Bryan), Stacy Sepeda (Johnny), Meredith Nidoh (Matt), John Jaksik and Connor Jaksik; her great grandchildren, Carson Johnson, Tyler Jaksik, Madeline McLaughlin, Agustus Lee Jaksik and Hunter Sepeda; and her sisters-in-law, Clarine Penak of Jourdanton and Lea Popham of Fairview, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
