He is survived by: his wife Barbara Shope Deason; his sons, Jacob Deason (Whitney) and Christopher Deason (Jessica); and his grandchildren, Clayton, Brody, Chloe, Bryce, Elise, Delaney, Colin, Declyn, Devereaux and Dreher.
