He was predeceased by: his parents, Saragoza Leal Martinez and Maria Hernandez Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Filomena "Nina" Marin; his sons, Rene Martinez of Floresville and Michael Martinez (Natalie) of Floresville; his siblings, Jose Jesus Martinez, Saragoza Martinez Jr., Maria "Mae" Ott, Rosalinda Segura, Theresa Roberts and Sylvia Martinez; his grandchildren, Adrianna Martinez, Ellaina Martinez, Zoe Purcell, Chloe Guerrero and Marvin Lee Cruz; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Cruz and Ida Mae Casey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
