She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Benites and Isabel Ramos Benites; her husband Juan A. Garcia; her children, Juan B. Garcia Jr., Jorge B. Garcia and Evelyn B. Garcia; her granddaughter Elizabeth Garcia; her siblings, Baldemar Benites Sr., Ismael Benites, Frank Benites Sr., Domingo Benites, Ray Benites, Susie Rodriguez, Raquel Benites and Elisa DeLeon; and her son-in-law Alex J. Trevino.
She is survived by: her children, Evaristo "Abe" Garcia (Stella), Corrine Silva (Daniel), Isabel Trevino, Virginia Castro (Tony), Erma Castillo (Alonzo), Rudy Garcia (Elsa) and Christina Farias (Frank); and her friend Carmen Aguirre. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
