She was predeceased by: her brothers, Thomas W. Reed and Darrell E. Reed. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Bonna Reed and Valerie Reed; her nieces and nephews, Robbie Reed, Garvan Reed, Benjamin Reed, Dorothy Reed-Echols, Casey Reed, Chelsea Ashworth, Sarah Reed and Cody Reed; and her husband Morris L. Merritt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Glynda's memory to the First Baptist Church, 1115 B. Street, Floresville, Texas 78114.
