He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Richter and Ella Richter; his wife Caroline Alice; his children, Christopher Lee and Carol Jean; and his sisters, Elenora Swift, Hilda Tkadlac, Rosie Popham and Lillie Freeman.
He is survived by: his stepson Stephen Eugene; his family Sonny; his sons, Stephen Richter, Anthony Richter (Katie) and Camilo Rangel; his grandson Justin Van Winkle (Shelby); his sons, Taylor and Joseph Richter; his great grandchildren, Gracelynne and Parker Van Winkle; and his sisters, Toney Lothringer and Helen Koepp.
