He was predeceased by: his parents, Cisto Martinez Sr. and Herlinda Duque DeEstrada Martinez; his grandparents, Fernando and Soledad Duque DeEstrada (Adela Flores Martinez); his brother Sonny Martinez; and his cousin Tony Martinez.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Ortiz, Stephanieann Marie Ortiz, Maria Esther Martinez, Elaine Martinez and Gerald Raul Ortiz; his grandchildren, Nicole Marie Ortiz, David Dyllon Johnson and Daniel Jesse Ortiz; and his great grandchildren, Ryan Alexander Ortiz, Davianna Johnson and Adalee Garay.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Vinyard Funeral Home - Floresville (1011 4th St, Floresville, TX 78114). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
