He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Pawelek and Emelia Kloss Pawelek; his wife Ellen Marie Pawelek; and his brothers, Edmund, Fabian, Lambert, Alois, Claude and Chester Pawelek.
He is survived by: his children, Scotty Pawelek (Laurie), Laurie York (James) and Shelly Pawelek; his grandchildren, Travis York, Hunter York (Olivia), McClaine Jauer (Acie) and Bailey Pawelek (Dalton Dennehy); his siblings, Archie Pawelek (Gladys), Webb Pawelek (Dorothy) and Elsie Haven (Chris); his sisters-in-law, Zelma Drees (Ernest) and Dorothy Pawelek; and also Wrenley Rose Jauer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1009 Trail St, Floresville, TX 78114). A rosary will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Floresville City Cemetery (140 Business Loop 181 N, Floresville, TX 78114).
