She was predeceased by: her parents, Adrian Ewert and Gloria Ewert (Proskovec); her brothers, David, Charlie and Jack; and her father-in-law Gerald "Jerry" Richards.

She is survived by: her husband Gregg Richards; her sons, Brian (Hillary) and Kevin (Jen); her grandson Reid; her mother-in-law Joan Richards; her siblings-in-law, Colleen Ewert (David), Kathy Ewert (Charlie), Susan Buchta (Gary) of Cleveland, MN and Gary Richards; and her nieces and nephews, Chuck Ewert (Cathy), Columbus of Nebraska, Angie Hake (Ron), Mandy Wemhoff (Brandon), Jason Buchta and Michelle Holicky (Ryan).

Memorials are suggested for The American Cancer Society, The American Heart Association, or the Floresville Academic Scholarship Fund.
