It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Angelita V. Pena of Floresville, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hipolito Vasquez and Valeria Camarillo Vasquez; her husband Pedro "Pete" Pena Sr.; and her siblings, Estevan Vasquez, Joaquin Vasquez, Frank Vasquez, Natalia Herrera and Vicenta Rodriguez.

She is survived by: her son Pedro Pena Jr.; her grandchildren, Joel Pena, Kevin Pena and Katie Johnson; her great grandchildren, Bryson, Avery, Rory, Jack and Rachel; and her sister Frances Medina. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
