She was predeceased by: her parents, Fernando Cadena and Blanca Cadena; her husband Raul C. Lopez; her sons, Rolando Lopez and Hector Lopez; her siblings, Emma Newby (John), Emilia Grau (Lloyd), Arnoldo T. Cadena, Norberto Cadena, Nene Cadena and Amando Cadena; her son-in-law Dino Castaneda Jr.; and her brothers-in-law, Claudio Hinojosa, Ernesto Gonzalez, Ernest Lopez and Jesus Guzman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Garza (Antonio) and Norma Castaneda; her granddaughter Brenda Jones (Johnny); her sisters, Tina Hinojosa, Lydia Gonzalez, Esther Lopez and Estella Guzman; her daughters-in-law, Josie Lopez and Angela Lopez; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria Cadena, Juanita Cadena, Ziola Cadena and San Juana Cadena.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trevino Funeral Home-Alice (120 E Front St, Alice, TX 78332). A rosary was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church (401 S Victoria St, San Diego, TX 78384). A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the San Diego Cemetery.
