She was predeceased by: her parents, Session Guthrie and Pearl Guthrie (Thompson); her husband John Whitehead; her daughter Patricia Garrison; and her siblings, T. F. Guthrie, Linwood Guthrie and Fay Hubbard.
She is survived by: her daughter Deanie Hill (Dudley); her grandchildren, Wendy Coco (Mugsy), Jayme Jasso (Joe), Erin Heine (Darrell), Cade, Meredith, Morgan, Macey, Jackson and Harper; her sisters, Sue Harrell and Martha Georg; and her sisters-in-law, Belva Guthrie and Donna Guthrie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lawler Baptist Church or the Florence Volunteer Fire Department.
