It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitchell Thorp (Florence, Texas), born in Christine, Texas, who passed away on February 24, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eula Fay and Samuel Elmer Thorp; his great grandchild William Douglas Beard; his son Russell Edwin Thorp; and his brothers, John and William (Bill).

He is survived by: his wife Faye; his sons, Doug and Troy; and his siblings, David Lee Thorp and Elizabeth Ann Crabb. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
