He is survived by: his wife Lois Fay Bland; his children, Sharon Bland Mathews, Trisha Bland Cook (Myron), Celeste Christiansen, Joe Richard Bland and David Christiansen; his sister Martha Janes; his grandchildren, Joshua Mathews and Kennedy Cook; and his great grandchildren, Keridon Mathews and Cole Mathews. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, friends.
