With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Rankin Sullivan (Florence, Texas), who passed away on May 15, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Guynes and Ethel Guynes; her former husband Bob Sullivan; her brothers, Lonnie Elmer Guynes of Kemmerer and James Guynes (Jimmie) of Early; her sons-in-law, W. H. Bates and Wallace Hinnant; and her grandsons, Aaron and Matthew Frnka.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jesse Floyd Guynes of Dove Creek, Martha Bailey of Rising Star and Bobby Gene Guynes of Pocatello; her close friend Julian Walton of Pearland; her children, Linda Bates of Rising Star, Ron Rankin (Carol) of Trinidad, Judy Hinnant of Boerne and Patsy Myers (Richard) of Mineral Wells; and her stepson Lathan Sullivan of Biloxi. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
