He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Mae Marschall Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Deaton; his daughter Marlo Bitter (Jarrod) of Carthage; his granddaughters, Emily and Allison Bitter; and his siblings, Albert Thompson (Cathy), Linda Gwin, Betsy Newtz, Marscha Kahle (Dennis) and Cathy McGlothin (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many close lifelong friends.
