He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jester and Ovie Mae Vandergriff (Thedford); and his brother Roy Vandergriff. He is survived by: his wife Mary Vandergriff of Flint, Texas; his sons, David (Paula Vandergriff) and Mark Vandergriff of Bullard, Texas; and his grandchildren, Lauren Vandergriff, Ryan Vandergriff, Alyssa Vandergriff and Taylor Vandergriff.
