We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2023, at the age of 43, Matthew Lee Thigpen of Flint, Texas, born in Temple, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, D. R. Lee (Sandy), Betty Lee, Roger E., Geneva Sessions and Lucy Lange.

He is survived by: his aunt Dr. Melanie Kaspar; his children, Drake and Olivia Thigpen; the mother of his children Natalie Reed of Bullard; his children, Emersyn and Ellisyn Thigpen; his parents, Renee Thigpen (Roger Sessions) and Gary Thigpen of Temple; and his siblings, Katie Smith (Lance) of Salado, Kelly Stephens (Mark) of Pearland, Krystin Gresham (Grant) of Austin, Corey Thigpen of Temple and Drew Thigpen of Holland, Texas. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many, many friends.
