He is survived by: his children, Jan Johnson and James Johnson; his daughter-in-law Lea Cotton Johnson (Michael Moore); his grandchildren, Logan Johnson, Douglas Johnson, Alyssia Johnson and AJ Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Karl Stauffer and Nell Johnson. He is also survived by 42 nieces and nephews, 98 grandnieces and grandnephews, along with many great-nieces and great-nephews.
