He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burton Crabtree and Alice Pearl Whitmire Crabtree; his brother Arthur; his daughter Pat Matonis; his sister Fay Bargsley (Coy); and his half-brothers, Jack and Raymond Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his children, Jimmy M. Crabtree, Debra Pitts (Don) and Tony Crabtree (Margaret); his grandchildren, Eric Carlson (Joanna), Elinda Carlson and Cassandra Crabtree; and his great grandchild Trevis Carlson.
