She is survived by: her spouse Harry S. E. Strand; her daughters, Alice Reekstin Jacobs (Roger) of South Bend, IN, Elizabeth Strand (David Kettler) of Buda, TX, Ann Strand Mease (Philip) of Williamsburg, VA and Catherine Strand Bennett of Austin; and her grandchildren, Stephen Jacobs, Magdalene Jacobs Snyder, Sarah Jacobs Wurtz, Caroline, Peter, Karl, Monika Strand, Alex, Eric Mease, Nicholas, Joseph and Daniel Bennett.
