He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Baxter Scroggins and Lela Belle Morris Scroggins; and his sisters, AdellePerkins, Juanice Fletcher, Nell Barron and Linda Loy Muckelroy.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Laverne Bostick; his children, Scott Scroggins, Dickie Scroggins, Roger Dale Scroggins, Patrick Benson Clayton II, Connie Dee Weesner, Sharon Dale Pursely and Karon Gale Piper; and his sisters, Jean Gilbert and Mary Hux. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen greatgrandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
