It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fidel Tamez of Fischer, Texas, born in San Benito, Texas, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carlos Tamez and Georgina Tamez; his wife Maria Lucille Tamez; his children, Sammy Tamez (Susan) and Sandra Tamez Neubert (Richard); his grandsons, Hunter and Hayden Vradenburg; and his siblings, Genaro Tamez (Terri), Carmen Gutierrez (Felipe), Lois Vasquez (Thomas), Jeanie Thompson and Louisa Cantu (Raymond).
