He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Turner and Rui Turner; his wife Sue Turner of Palmer; his son Dennis Turner; and his sister Mildred Turner.
He is survived by: his son Terry (Nancy) of College Station; his grandchildren, Melody Allen (Donny) of Waxahachie, Xan Turner of Dallas, Hamilton Turner of Santa Fe and Ty Turner of College Station; his stepgrandchildren, Greg Campbell of Riesel, Russell Campbell of Navasota and Nannette Campbell of Sherman; and his sisters, Mayfair Mullican of Ferris and Faye Colquitt of Arlington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
