He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. John and Norma John (Ellis); his son David Joseph John; and his brother Charles John. He is survived by: his wife Peggy John of Campbell, Texas; his daughter Amy Adams; his stepchildren, Jason (Valeri Moore), Holly Moore and Tucker Moore; his grandchildren, Addy Adams, Desiree John and D'Angelo Jordan Kelley; and his siblings, Bobby, Judy John of Houston, Vicki (Scote Cole) of Greenville, Michael, Tammy John of Rockwall and Michelle John of Mabelvale, Arkansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
