He was predeceased by: his father James Richard Friesen; and his grandparents, Ruth Ethyl Bradford Bodine, John Thomas Bodine, Viola Anna Liechty and Ferdinand P. Friesen.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Richard and Billie Ruth Friesen; his wife Janine Friesen (Edinburgh); his mother Billie Ruth Friesen; and his brothers, Don Friesen (Janet) and Richard Friesen (Lisa). He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
