It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Leslie Heintschel Jr. of Fayetteville, Texas, who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Heintschel and Leona Heintschel (Braun); his grandson Adam Michael Fischer; and his half-brothers, Edgar Heintschel (Adeline), Clarence Heintschel (Earline), Arthur Heintschel (Estella) and Harry Heintschel (Laurie).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Heintschel; his daughter Rhonda Fischer (Curtis); his grandchildren, Joshua Fischer and Sarah Fischer; his great grandchild David Fischer; his siblings, Gladys Svec (Theo), Artie Lee Schultz, Milton Heintschel (Ann) and Lambert Heintschel (Angela); his half-sisters, Elvira Lillie (Elo) and Ivy Heintschel; his sisters, Leara Henneke (Robert) and Ruth Seifert (A. F.); and his brother-in-law James Schultz.
