He was predeceased by: his parents, Valerio Nunez Llanes and Frances Salazar Llanes; and his sister Bernie Gonzales. He is survived by: his wife Ashley Mitchell Llanes; his siblings, Valerio Llanes, Jr. and Barbara Llanes Carter (Michael); his nieces and nephews, Bobby, Karen Gonzeles, John, Keri Gonzales, Joni, Jason Browning, Matthew, Haley Carter, Thomas, Kaci Carter, Cheyenne, Allan Parsons, Payton and Kaily Coleman; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Fayth, John Daivd Gonzales, Jr., Cason Carter, Carlos, Scarlett, Hunter Gonzales, Kelli Yaws, Creed Parsons and Greyson Coleman.

All contributions will be given as scholarships in Joe's memory.
