It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Jonell Hawk of Fate, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on March 22, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona Duggan (Hill) and Clarence Duggan; her husband Truman Hawk; and her sister Peggy Shahan. She is survived by: her children, James, Danny, Jayn and Karen; her grandchildren, Janiece (Dustin McClendon), Jordan (Kelly Hawk), Jessica (Jody Garner) and Jacob (Suzanne Hawk); and her great grandchildren, Kate, Lauren, Hadley, Kinsley, Conway, Latham, Addie, Christian, Hayden, Hudson and Hewitt. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

“To the Hawk family, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate the life of your wonderful loved one. I met her at Suzanne Hawk's wedding shower. Sitting outside around a table, the ground was damp...I saw the chair Jonell was sitting in slowly sinking into the ground on one side. Before she was able to fall out of the chair, I gently told her to put her arms around my neck...that did break the fall and we were able to get her seated safely. She is in the arms of Jesus now!”
