He was predeceased by : his parents, Opal Christine (Cotner) and Lewis Lee Wright. He is survived by : his wife Ruth Le Wright (Armstrong); his children, Linda Sheffield (Jason), Allison Wright, James Wright, Carrie Hutchison (David) and Esther Pena (Omar); and his siblings, Shirley Brown, Jerry Treybig and Gerald Wright. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, one granddaughter-in-law.

“My sister just told me about Jackie. I am so sorry. Love and prayers to all of you. I knew he wasn't doing well but didn't realize his condition had gotten so much worse. He and Aunt Lucy are rejoicing together. I know she was glad to see him. You both were such good friends. Jackie was always there for her, helping with a living smile.”
