He was predeceased by: his father John Homer Brunson; his wife Nelda Merle Brunson; his mother Dovie Faye; his siblings, Homer Brunson (Ava Brunson) and Mary Ruth Burnett; and his nephews, Michael Burnett and Wayne Brunson.
He is survived by: his sons, Edwin Brunson (Debbie) of Canton and Rick Brunson (Vicki) of Union Valley, Texas.; his grandchildren, Toni Betts (David) of Middletown, Kelly Haack (Chris) of Rockwall, Clint Brunson (Brittany) of Royse City and Melody Sutton (Greg) of Italy, Texas.; his great grandchildren, Troy (Chelsie), Bailey, Brooke, Bethany, Emily, Benjamin, Brianna, Levi, Jonathan, Eden, Kaylynn and Jacob; his great great grandchildren, Addison and Savannah; and also Dovie Faye Castleberry.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall (2500 TX-66, Rockwall, TX 75087). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
