He was predeceased by: his parents, George Luce and Ida Luce; his wife Oneta Luce; his daughter Diane Cooper; his siblings, Leonard Luce, Ophelia Walker, Hattie Mae Gentry and Christine Edwards; and his great grandchild Marissa Caruso.
He is survived by: his children, Vernon Luce of Farwell, TX and Teresa Luce Curry of Texico; his son-in-law Lynn Cooper of Texico; and also Steve Owen of Clovis. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
