He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Berry and Irene Berry (Henderson); his wife Patsy Phares; his siblings, Helen Bond, Frances Copeland, Betty Daniel, Donnie Berry, Pat Berry, Glenn Berry and Marshall Berry; and his son-in-law Royce Bethel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jamye Bethel (Doyle Ford), Jana Pitcock (Randy) of Farwell and Janene Jesko (Terry) of Lazbuddie, Texas.; his grandchildren, Shelly Bethel, Jamie Bethel, Ryan Roberts, Mindi Thornton (Toby), Kayle Jesko (Stephanie), Jarrod Jesko and Lacey Lennon (Dustin); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Daleaney, Broxyn, Aynzli, Carson, Junah, Bostyn of Graham, C. J., Liam and Dennis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ellis Funeral Home (104 E Ave F, Muleshoe, TX 79347). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Farwell (404 Ave E S, Farwell, TX 79325). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery.
