He was predeceased by: his father Gilberto Guadalupe Muñiz; his wife Carla Baca; and his siblings, Juana Macias, Concha Gonzales, Santiago Muñiz and Gilberto Muñiz.
He is survived by: his children, Gilbert Muñiz of Littlefield, Antonio Muñiz (Sandra) of Madison, Casimiro John Muniz III (Erika) of Lancaster, Gregorio Muñiz of Amarillo, Texas, Alicia Martinez (Mike) of Lubbock, Maria Muñiz of Dallas, Carmel Muniz of Amherst, Guadalupe Muñiz of Whiteface, Anita Montañez (Bolio) of Whiteface, Dolores Flores of Whiteface, Rosa Quevedo (Roman) of Houston and Viola Muñiz (Jeff Jimenez); and his sisters, Maggie Muñiz of Dallas, Santos Muñiz of Muleshoe, Lupe Soto (Roberto) of Washington, DC and SanJuana Muñiz of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sudan Cemetery.
