He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Johnson and Ethel Johnson (Ashby) of Oklahoma Lane; and his sister Betty Rose Lowrie. He is survived by: his children, Scott Johnson (Patti) of Farwell, Charles Johnson (Michelle) of Ft. Worth and Sharlet Johnson of Farwell; and his grandchildren, Drew Johnson (Cebia) of Sudan, Abby Dye (Trey) of Lubbock, Jill Campbell (Cody) of Farwell, Cari Johnson of Brooklynn, NY, Josh Johnson (Paige) of Ft. Worth, Kelsea Johnson of Lubbock, Levi McCormick of Amarillo and Chase Mitchell (Brayden) of Lubbock. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lariat Church of Christ (760 TX-403 Loop, Farwell, TX 79325). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
