It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Jones of Farmersville, Texas, born in Nevada, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Otis Jones and Katherine Ford Jones; and his brother James Jones. He is survived by: his wife Laveda Jones; his children, Terrionta Levells, Rodney Denmark and Roderick Jones; his stepsons, Cordarion of Washington and Montavian Wright; his siblings, Annie Jones Holmes, Victoria Saunders, Barbara Johnson, Betty Forester and Elbert Carl Jones; his grandchildren, Jmariya, Jeremiyah, Rodney, Ce'Dazjah and Kambri; his aunts and uncles, Nathaniel Thomas, Ronald Thomas, Willie Franklin, Irvin Lee Ford, Stanley Ford, Addie Hardarmon, Christina Royal, Teresa Buckingham and Barbara McCoy; and his cousin Teresa Luke Brown Nwosu. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
