She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin McGuffey and Minnie McGuffey (Davis); her husband L. V. Barnett; her stepson Larry Barnett; and her siblings, Martha Mae "Belle" Head, Willie Oscar McGuffey, Elizabeth Whited, Thomas Watson McGuffey, Terrance B McGuffey, Leo Murial McGuffey, Perle Edith Richardson, Hershal B McGuffey, Artie Taft McGuffey and Charles Bernice McGuffey.
She is survived by: her grandson Larry Aaron Barnett; and her nieces and nephews, Charles, Van McGuffey, Hernán Morales, Donna Green, Janet Rino, Tamra and Juanell.
