He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Edger; his parents, Willie Edger and Ana Edger (Beanblossom); his grandson Daniel Edger; and his siblings, George Edger, Marjorie Bailey and Arelda Emrick.

He is survived by: his son Rob Edger; his daughter-in-law Lu Ann Edger; his grandson Brian Edger; and his sister Lenore Hittle.
