She was predeceased by: her parents, Robbie C. Shannon and Nettie I. Cranford; and her husband James DeMent. She is survived by: her children, Mike DeMent (Terry) of Pottsboro and Linda Lavely of Woodbridge; her grandchildren, Meredith Nilsson, Mikey DeMent and Matt Leveille; and her great grandchildren, Matilda Leveille, Kade and Kylee Strickland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
